I used to train with a former Soviet artillery officer


Had been in AFG. He was in the Red Army when the USSR fell. They were told they weren't getting paid anymore. Stood around and looked at each other a bit, shrugged, packed their duffels, and just went home on the train. He did not want to talk about AFG.
